Wait on Me
I have seen your love, your desire to please ME. Many times, you have chosen Me above all else and I am pleased. But you are growing weary. You have waited upon Me, and I say keep waiting on Me and I will not disappoint you.
What you call delay, I call preparation. Many times, I am at work behind the scenes, yet you cannot discern it. I am preparing others so that your destiny may be fulfilled, and I am preparing you even as I prepared Joseph for his season, of promotion. Never judge My works by what your eyes see but by the promises have made to you. I will fulfill My word, and your eyes will see the miracles of My hand.
The days of completion are Mine, not yours. I will complete the work I have for you as My timing comes to pass. Even as My ways are perfect, so My timing is perfect. For you have said, “It seems I am standing till and going nowhere.” But I ay over you, I am unfolding My glory upon you even as you wait on Me. Join your heart to Mine. Entwine your heart into Mine, and you will see My glory, even in a season of waiting. Trust in Me and lay aside every anxiety and every form of impatience, and I will bring a miracle to pass in your life, for I am the Father of Love. I will make it happen and show you My perfection.
Psalm 13
PSALM 13: 1-6 – Prayer Turns Depression into Delight[a]
13 For the Pure and Shining One, by King David
1 I’m hurting, Lord—will you forget me forever?[b] How much longer, Lord? Will you look the other way when I’m in need?[c]
2 How much longer must I cling to this constant grief? I’ve endured this shaking of my soul. So how much longer will my enemy have the upper hand? It’s been long enough!
3 Take a good look at me, God, and answer me! Breathe your life into my spirit. Bring light to my eyes in this pitch-black darkness or I will sleep the sleep of death.
4 Don’t let my enemy proclaim, “I’ve prevailed over him.” For all my adversaries will celebrate when I fall.
5 Lord, I have always trusted in your kindness, so answer me. I will yet celebrate with passion and joy when your salvation[d] lifts me up.
6 I will sing my song of joy to you, the Most High, for in all of this you have strengthened my soul. My enemies say that I have no Savior,
but I know that I have one in you!
Footnotes:
a. Psalm 13:1 Some believe David composed this shortly after being anointed to be the king of Israel. David knew greatness was his destiny, but he struggled with the persecution and challenges that came before his exaltation. In the wilderness, David trusts and prays his way out.
b. Psalm 13:1 This is the psalm that describes the journey from self to God, from despair to delight, from feeling abandoned to feeling affirmed. It begins with pain and ends with praise. Moaning gives way to music. We each can take comfort in what David experienced.
c. Psalm 13:1 David feels as though God is hiding his face from his cries. David is left alone to wrestle with his doubts, feeling as though his patience can hold on no longer. Have you ever been there?
d. Psalm 13:5 The term for “salvation” is yeshu’sh, which is nearly identical to Jesus, our Salvation. Our Savior plans blessings and hopes for each of us as we trust in him.
PSALM 50 - GOD IS NOT SILENT
Psalm 50:1-3 – God Has Spoken
A poetic song of Asaph, the gatherer
1 The God of gods, the mighty Lord himself, has spoken! He shouts out over all the people of the earth in every brilliant sunrise and every beautiful sunset, saying, “Listen to me!”
2 God’s glory-light shines out of the Zion-realm with the radiance of perfect beauty.
3 With the rumble of thunder, he approaches; he will not be silent, for he comes with an ear-splitting sound! All around him are furious flames of fire and preceding him is the dazzling blaze of his glory.
Our all loving forgiving Father
Dear Heavenly Father
I know that I have sinned against You and am deserving of punishment. But Jesus Christ took the punishments that I deserve so that through faith in Him I could be forgiven. I place my trust in You for salvation. thank You for Your wonderful grace and forgiveness – the gift of eternal life!
I pray for those who need You, that each and every day more of us will realise the salvation that is available through our worship and praise in You, and to remember that through Jesus Christ (can all be ours) it is always available to anyone of who wants it, no matter where we are from, no matter what we have done, we know by asking for Your forgiveness and by having a whole heart of faith we can be forgiven always, as You are love, You love each and every single one of us, all of humanity and creation is Yours, and that is why You love us so much, Your love is so unconditional, unfathomable, unexplainably humungous. We love You, Father God, help us to be humble, faithful servants to You, keep us growing with faith, obedience, and love for You more and more every minute of every day, help us see Your glorious grace for us, Your undeserving mercy which You pour out for us endlessly, as we accept Your joy for believing in You through Christ Jesus our savior. Through Jesus’ name, I pray Amen.
