Praying for Strength, Courage and Forgiveness
I think most of my time studying Your words, I have been thinking, learning and remembering have been mostly about courage, I need courage every day, in all that I do, I need courage to make decisions about the small stuff and the big deciders in my life that could change everything, I cannot go through my day without thinking of You and what courage You give me every time I ask for it! Without question it comes from You God, You are so gracious and are always there for me when I need courage.
I pray for forgiveness, all through my life I have asked to be forgiven for something I have done wrong or not really right, or even inappropriate, when I have messed up and can’t even forgive myself, but You have, and so I am learning that forgiveness also needs to come from me, I need to forgive those who have hurt me, those who have wronged me, upset me, made me mad or emotional, I need to forgive all those who are not in my life and those who are, all who have done any of these things, I need to forgive them, I am slowly learning how to do that one at a time, I never realised how many people I need to forgive, so forgiveness is a work in Progress, which is an on-going relationship through You and I know that You are the only one who can help me do this!
Father please show me how I can use Your strength to get through all I need to do in life, to have the courage to do what needs to be done, to step out in faith and express my love and feelings for You, to have the strength to forgive those who have hurt me and scared me the most.
I pray for Your love and teachings of Your words, that I will be wiser and stronger and be able to right my insecurities and anxieties, to let Your Holy Spirit in me work freely to teach me how to use Your strength for all I need to do, for all the decisions I need to make in life to be able walk a Jesus centered life. To have this amazing relationship with You and show that my strength in life comes from You and that anyone can have that strength just by having a relationship with You through Jesus Christ, Amen.
